32 years old. I skated for 17 years, and amazingly when I had my first kid all my friends who I skated with every single day started to ignore me when I started skating less. I know if I came back to skating they’d want to talk and skate again. Probably wouldn’t want to engage with them. I miss skateboarding though. The board is the true friend.

I've recently just got my 8yo son into skating and he had his first real bail the other day(nothing major, pretty sure his ego was hurt more than anything😂) but he did get a little psyched out initially, I told him falling down was all part of the process, we got home and I sat down with him and found some of mine and my mates old footage and showed him all the times we fell over trying to get just one trick on a spot but no matter how many times we bailed on it, we kept going until we nailed it🤙🏻

The extended warranty bit was the best part.

Not really relevant, but I just got my first board a couple days ago, and I cannot tell if I am goofy or regular. Both feel right to me though. When I ride regular my back foot has mote strength so i can pop better, but when I ride goofy my balance when pushing is a lot better, but when I ride goofy my back foot is not as strong. Should I ride goofy and just get used to the fact that my back foot is weaker? Or do I work on the balance I have when riding regular?
